Ultra Beach Bali at Potato Head Beach Club just few minutes by walking distance from the Villa.

Update: dates for Ultra Beach Bali 2018 are yet to be confirmed. Ultra Beach Bali returns to the beachside venue of Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak, and adjoins the Resistance World Tour, right after Singapore and before heading off to the Philippines. The Bali leg of the Ultra Worldwide Asian calendar is set to bring together electronic digital music enthusiasts and partygoers again this September 15-16, with another live show to remember. Its bumper line-up of big-name EDM DJs includes Afrojack and deadmau5. Last year’s Ultra Beach Bali debut sold out before the line-up was even announced, and this year it will surely be another packed spectacle. The main Seminyak beachfront venue at Potato Head gears up again with cutting-edge stage production combined with stunning laser and visual effects and, most importantly, quality sound systems to pump out the tracks from the heavyweight performers. Here’s the full line-up of among the world-famous DJs slated to perform this year.

The first Petitenget Festival will present mass “Tari Tenun” as a mascot of the festival. It will be performed by 1957 dancers at Petitenget beach on Sunday, 16th of September 2018. Tari Tenun literally means weaving dance. The number of dancers (1957) who will perform this dance is taken from the year 1957 when this dance was created by late Nyoman Ridet, one of leading artists from Krobokan village. All dancers are teenager girls and women from 50 banjars (smallest community in Bali society system) in Krobokan village. Besides Tari Tenun, another mass activity is mass Yoga Ketawa (Lough Yoga) with 2000 participants. Another important performance is Wayang Wong, a traditional arts of Bali which is on the verge of extinction since 70 years ago.

As reported by, the underpass including access ramps is 900 metres long with a width of 17 metres. The section of the underpass that is under cover is a tunnel approximately 120 metres long. The opening of the new roadway is expected to eliminate the traffic bottleneck at the airport intersection that is the meeting point for the Bali Toll Road, the north-south Bypass Ngurah Rai highway, and the entrance to the Airport. Saraswati Day

Bali’s Hindu community will celebrate Saraswati Day on 13th October 2018 with special ceremonies, offerings and prayers. This auspicious occasion honours Dewi Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. It is held every 210 days in accordance to the Balinese religious calendar. The symbol of this revered deity is a beautiful four-armed goddess illustrated as playing the zither while holding up sacred manuscripts. She is often depicted standing on top of a lotus flower with a swan at her feet. This vision demonstrates purity and an incessant thirst for knowledge. The hallmark of celebrations on this day is the provision of offerings by locals regardless of their location: whether at school, at home, at the office, or in the temples. These offerings are varied, but the one similarity between them is the fact that they are all placed on top of books and in the middle of pages containing holy scriptures. This is done in appreciation of knowledge and the quest for higher learning. (Source:

We recently stayed in Yubi Boutique Villas to celebrate my husband's 40th Birthday! The Villa (no 4) we stayed in was perfect... sunny all day but plenty of shaded areas such as day bed, also extremely private with nothing overlooking the outside area. The villa was cleaned each day whenever we went out (rather than being disturbed whilst you're in). The bedroom was huge, as was the bathroom.. the kitchen area was well equipped (just required more cleaning products as we like to keep tidy) ... mini bar also provided which is near enough the same price as minimarts so we used this and kept a tab of what we took.. The breakfast was 10/10... they provided a varied menu which you fill out each night which is then served at a preferential time to the villa... Balinese coffee is a must!! The staff were fantastic.. all very friendly and professional.. special mention to Bagus and Daniel! We would also like to thank management who made an extra effort and had all the staff bring a birthday cake and sing happy birthday to my husband (which embarrassed him nicely)... Location... also 10/10... 3 minute walk to potato head (and beach), 15 minutes to ku de ta, 20 minute walk along beach to finns beach club in canguu, 5 minutes to motel mexicola ... I had read reviews it was really noisy from a nightclub next door... now we worked out this noise was actually coming from much further away... potentially motel mexicola.. so no escaping that anywhere in seminyak! Whilst we could hear the noise now and again.. it didn't bother us so don't let these complaints about noise put you off as these Villas really are fab! Our only tip is wear mosquito repellant day and night... we used the mosquito burning coils to keep them away

We had a fantastic stay at the Yubi Villas in Seminyak. Hidden behind the hustle and bustle of street, this group of ten villas are well appointed with each having a private pool and garden and are fabulously quiet. Enjoy watching the squirrels playing in the frangipani tree at breakfast, or enjoy watching the colours change as the sun sets.
Breakfast is prepared for you if required with a choice of American, European or Balinese styles – if you’ve never had nasi goreng for breakfast here’s a wonderful opportunity to give it a try, washed down with aromatic Balinese coffee.
Transport provide by the villas was great. Our driver, Kertut, provided us with punctual pick-ups at the airport in Denpasar. He also became our guide during the tours that we organized through the Yubi Villas reception. Great local knowledge and a dry sense of humour dealing with the odd traffic jam. Tours can be booked for a day or half day, and can be customized to your personal interests.
The Villas’ location is very good, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. All in all, a lovely place to stay in Bali.

This is the second time my partner Tom and I have stayed at Yubi. We love the location as it is not the hustle of Seminyak Square. It is close to some amazing restaraunts such as Merah Putih, Barbacoa, Saigon Street and Da Maria. Personally prefer the Peitenget area over the main typical places as I find it a bit more authentic. Yubi is very clean, the staff ensure you are provided with new towels daily and do a fabulous job at maintaining the cleanness. The breakfast is great; standard stuff such as eggs, toast, pancakes, pastries etc. The area of the villa is a real stand out. Much better quality and more modern compared to some of the villas our friends were staying at. The pool and villa is very spacious and nothing looks old or aged. They've recently added a decking around the pool and replace the previous slippery tiles. The main stand out of this villa that brought us back is the staff. Ketut and Daniel always treated us with the highest amount of respect and we truely cherish the time we spent with them. They are both excellent and knowledgeable drivers (we will do another day trip next time we promise!). Also thank you to Made who was extremely accomodating in allowing us to book two extra nights when we changed our travel plans. We appreciate all of the staff's friendliness and look forward to visiting you all again soon. Best wishes!
